That is WONDERFUL Makeda! I went to your site to see if maybe you were doing a tour. I think that would be wonderful. I’d love to see that show get out and make the rounds. Did anyone from the LA Times or any local magazines come and do a review or write up of your LA show? I’d like to see it done more locally too. Two shows is not enough for LA❣️I want to recommend it to everyone I know but there are no more shows scheduled😥

I guess I’ll have to be patient...

Purpose/ Vision

The purpose of "Love In Concert" is to Educate, Enlighten and Expose others to various genres of music expression while emphasizing the importance of self love and embracing one's own unique gifts/talents without compromise or judgement. From sitting at the piano and singing an Italian aria at La Scala Opera House in Milan, to reminiscing about her days growing up in the church singing gospel music, character "Kiki McCall" ultimately learns to accept and embrace her unique musical abilities. She realizes that she has spent too much time allowing others to  "fit me into their little boxes that weren't even big enough for me". After many failed attempts to live up to others' expectations of herself, the light bulb goes off and she is drawn to the words of Williams Shakespeare: To thine own self be true.
