Logline
Set against the vibrant jazz-blues scene of 1927 St. Louis, Jennifer Calloway, a fair-skinned Black woman passing as white, faces her concealed heritage when her newborn's appearance threatens to expose her true identity, jeopardizing her celebrated career as a jazz singer and compelling her to confront the divided loyalties of her past.
